How payment works on velmiraae.shop, and how your details are protected.
Payment methods
The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout. We accept payment by debit and credit card (processed by Stripe) and by PayPal, when these are shown for your order. Your payment is taken when you place your order.
Currency
You pay in the currency of your delivery country — the same currency and amount you see in your bag and at checkout (USD, EUR, GBP, DKK, SEK, NOK or CHF). We do not add conversion fees. If your card is in a different currency, your bank may apply its own exchange rate or fee.
How your card details are protected
- The whole site uses HTTPS encryption (TLS).
- Card details are entered in secure fields provided by Stripe and sent directly to Stripe. They never pass through or are stored on our servers.
- Stripe and PayPal are certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the highest standard of the payment card industry.
- Where your bank requires it, payments are confirmed with Strong Customer Authentication (for example 3D Secure in your banking app).
On your statement
Card payments appear on your statement as VELMIRAAE.
Order checks
To protect you and us from fraud, some orders are checked automatically by our payment providers. Very rarely we may contact you to confirm details before dispatch.
Refunds
Refunds go back to the original payment method, in the currency you paid. They are issued within 14 days of your withdrawal (see Returns & Withdrawal) and normally appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Questions about a payment
If you see a payment you do not recognise or have a question about a charge, email support@velmiraae.shop with your order number before contacting your bank — we answer within two business days.
